Match Report
St John's School, Leatherhead Boys-U12A vs  Trinity School, Croydon
On: Wednesday, 01 Mar 2017
Venue: Away

The U12A boys football team headed to Croydon today to play Trinity. After a heard weekend fixture the boys where ready to work hard and improve.

The first half started extremely well. The St John's boys where passing the ball around well and attacking with ease at times. A great steal high up the park from Eden Barlow saw him clean through on goal and calmly slotted the ball past the Trinity goalkeeper. Half time saw the match all square at 1-1.

The team came out after half time ready to look after the ball and defend hard. They worked extremely hard but unfortunately the Trinity team scored a second goal from a lapse in concentration.

Luc Gamber had an excellent match at right back against a tricky Trinity winger and Lucas Atkin had a strong performance in centre midfield. Both boys never gave up and deserved a joint man of the match award.
