Match Report
St John's School, Leatherhead 5th VII vs  King's College School (KCS), Wimbledon
On: Saturday, 11 Mar 2017
Venue: at Home

The girls had a good game against Kings Collage Wimbledon. The pace of the game was fast, with both teams playing very well, moving the ball up and down the court quickly. St Johns got off to a good start with some excellent fast-paced centre court play from Rhianna and Holly allowing the girls to lead at the end of the first quarter 6-3. The second quarter saw the two shooters Hope and Louise really come into their own, moving well around the semicircle and scoring some excellent goals. This put St Johns further in front winning 15-6 at half time. Half time allowed the girls to get their breath back and there was some excellent defensive play in the third quarter from Anya, Charlie and Lily who intercepted a number of passes. The score at the end of the quarter was 21-11. Both teams tired a little in the final quarter from such an exciting match but St Johns remained on top to win the fixture 24-14. Well done girls an excellent game.
