Match Report
St John's School, Leatherhead Girls-U14C vs  Cranleigh School
On: Saturday, 04 Mar 2017
Venue: at Home

Having already played the U14D Cranleigh team this season we knew the U14C team would be tough competition. The first quarter was played well by Cranleigh and we were down by 3-6 and this continued into the second quarter and the score was 8-14 at half time. The girls were determined to fight back and had a strong attack in the third quarter brining the score to 14-17. The girls were getting excited and thought we could steal the game and within the final quarter we were drawing on 17-17 and the girls continued to fight hard. The tension was high and support from parents was getting the girls highly motivated, however, we were just 2 goals short of defeat with a final score of 19-21.

Most valued players in this match were Emma Rickerd who gave her all in centre position and had a great energy on court and Elsa Rogers who maintained a strong defence.
