Match Report
St John's School, Leatherhead Girls-U14A vs  Cranleigh School
On: Saturday, 04 Mar 2017
Venue: at Home

On a quite blustery afternoon driving onto the ball was the call of the day. Hopefully not introducing the commentators curse the girls started the game with great intensity levels and immediately put Cranleigh on th back foot. Zonal defending came into play and at crucial times this made it very hard work for Cranleigh to get the ball into the shooting circle. Always looking one pass ahead of the game Jess and Till made vital interceptions and the ball turnover from Cranleigh shots from Olivia, Amy and Tilly set St John's up very nicely. Anna and Ella have become almost telepathic in the manner in which they can drive the ball into the attacking third of play and when called upon Holly continued to work down the wide channels superbly. Eliana enforced Cranleigh to make positional changes with her dominanace in the shooting circle and Meg made some great shots and crucial moments with one interception enabling a three goal turnover in the final quarter to calm the nerves and ensure another win at the final whistle.

Well done girls
