Match Report
St John's School, Leatherhead Girls-U15B vs  Cranleigh School
On: Saturday, 04 Mar 2017
Venue: at Home

The U15Bs faced Cranleigh at home this morning in what was to be our toughest match of the season so far. Some changes to the team saw Georgina Holden step in as GK; a very welcome addition.

St John's were ahead for the whole match but Cranleigh were always within two points and at times drew level. Abi Tait showed leadership at centre and ensured that the pace of the game was such that Cranleigh struggled to keep up with our play. The defensive duo of Jemima Good and Georgina Holden got plenty of turnover ball and this was conveyed down the court quickly into the safe hands of our shooters: Jasmin Walker and Elsa Edwards.

Abi Tait was voted man of the match for her cool head and control of the game. In addition, I name Sophie Porter as coach's man of the match for playing a full game out of position at WA but improving every quarter and adding value through centre court.
