Match Report
St John's School, Leatherhead Girls-U14C vs  Cranleigh School
On: Saturday, 21 Jan 2017
Venue: Away

The U14C team were in high spirits this week and were ready to go head to head with Cranleigh, a tough opposition. The first quarter was neck and neck with both teams scoring two goals each. Poppy Macfarlane then scored three goals in the next quarter, putting us in the lead by 1 goal overall. The third quarter was very close and some excellent interceptions were being made by Alice Moody and Elsa Rogers bringing the score to 9-9. Olivia Hedges kept the team together in centre position and brought us to victory with a final score of 11-9, both goals scored by Poppy Macfarlane with excellent support from Molly Warner who always fought for the ball with great effort. Yet another goal was scored by Poppy, however, just after the final whistle had blown. The team played excellently together to win this match and our MVP of the match goes to Poppy Macfarlane this week.
