Match Report
St John's School, Leatherhead Boy's 2nd XI vs  Pangbourne College
On: Saturday, 18 Mar 2017
Venue: at Home

This was a frustrating game to finish with. Although a draw gave us an unbeaten record, it was a game we could have won. Pangbourne were an agricultural team, strong and fast but with little skill .

Harry Thomas played very well, dominating the middle, Harry Russell was as reliable as ever at the back and Harry Lynn was the playmaker up front. We created many chances, but their goalkeeper saved everything. When the opposition got the ball they hit it hard forwards and we looked vulnerable at times, but in general the defence managed to clear it.

It was a very good season, although frustrating as so many matches were cancelled. Well done to the Upper sixth, Jasper Tressider (captain) and Luke Frost, who always gave of their best. With so many remaining we should again be a force to be reckoned with next year.
