Match Report
St John's School, Leatherhead Junior B vs  King Edward's Witley
On: Saturday, 25 Feb 2017
Venue: Away

The junior B team where excited for their match against King Edwards on Saturday. The group of boys who are progressing quickly turned up in high spirits ready to work hard during the match.

The game started well with both teams evenly matched and both teams having some great chances. The biggest threat from the St John's team was Marcus Murphy who's pace down the left side was troubling the King Edwards team. George Haymes, Ismael Rodriguez Foronda and Charlie Saunders had great games in defence and Goalkeeper.

The first half finished 1-0 to King Edwards but the boys where confident at half time they could pull it back. The team needed to be more direct with there play and thats exactly what they did. Unfortunately a lack of composure in front of goal meant that the St John's boys where unable to score. The match finished 2-0 but the Junior B's should take great heart with their performance and continue to progress into next weekend fixture against Eton.

Well done all the boys involved.
