Match Report
St John's School, Leatherhead Boys-U14D vs  Brighton College
On: Saturday, 28 Jan 2017
Venue: Away

In the first half of the game, the team had the disadvantage of playing up hill on a pitch with a gradient. However, about 15 minutes into the first half, Mustafa El Barky (Team Captain) scored the first of his two goals and set the team up with an advantage for the second half of the match, where the gradient of the pitch was in their favour. By the middle of the second half, St John's were 4-0 up; a goal by Brighton took the score to 4-1, but St John's was playing so well as a team that a fifth goal secured them victory.

The match was won by excellent team work, with some excellent positional play and with every player focused on the advantages of team work. It was a joy to watch.
