Match Report
St John's School, Leatherhead 2nd XI vs  Berkhamsted School
On: Thursday, 09 Mar 2017
Venue: Away

With the second team, playing there postponed away fixture against Berkhamsted on a Thursday it was a struggle to get the normal eleven together due to injuries.

At the start of the game, it did show that we have not played that much football together. With not a lot of cohesion or communication. We unfortunately conceded early. St. John’s started to play much better football though with some brilliant passing football being displayed. Berkhamsted scored another two goals quickly though.

Just before half time St. John’s started pushing and becoming very dangerous but the opposition, goalkeeper was having a very good game. Lewis Catto picked up the ball on the half way line ran around a defender and as he was being fouled, had a shoot on goal, which curved in to the top right hand corner.

In the second half Berkhamsted scored an early goal, which was unfortunate. From then it was even match where we made many chances but could not finish them.

The players commitment was brilliant to see.
