Match Report
St John's School, Leatherhead Girls-U15B vs  Ardingly College
On: Saturday, 28 Jan 2017
Venue: at Home

The team's unbeaten record is still intact following a 35:4 win against Ardingly College. We got out of the blocks in the 1st quarter and took a 9:1 lead. The mid-court play of Abbie Tait, Iona Cochrone and Sophie Porter meant that St John's dominated possession. Jasmine Walker and Elsa Edwards held their positioning in the D getting in front of the Ardingly defence and Jasmine's accuracy on goal was outstanding. The second quarter saw another 10 goals go unanswered and the team were in their stride. During the third quarter, Ardingly worked hard to stay in the match and some excellent passing down the court meant Martha Witt and Jemima good had to work hard to keep the attack at bay. This is the second match they have played together and they worked together exceptionally well. Working until the final whistle the girls should be proud of another excellent performance; they impressed with their athleticism and competitive spirit. Well done to Sophie Porter who was named player of the match by the opposition and coaches choice goes to Abbie Tait for taking complete control of centre court. Well done also to Pippa Hansford and Ellie Grove who umpired the match very well indeed.
