Match Report
St John's School, Leatherhead Girls-U14A vs  Ardingly College
On: Saturday, 28 Jan 2017
Venue: Away

With enforced positional changes due to illness and injury, it was no surprise that the team got off to a rather slow start. The game was evenly paced with both teams making mistakes at crucial moments and a 7 - 7 scoreline was a fair way for the quarter to end. During the second half Meg and Ella gained a greater understanding within the shooting circle and Olivia and Tilly mopped up all loose balls. Such was the dominance of theses two Ardingly failed to add to their tally and at half-time a 12-7 lead was established. Jess, Holly and Anna dominated the play down the channels and in the ever important third quarter the lead was extended to 17-9. To Ardingly's credit they played with determination in the final quarter but at the final whistle a 21-11 win was secured.

Such is the depth of talent within this squad the girls have managed to come away with a solid result. Well done girls.
