Match Report
St John's School, Leatherhead Boys-U16B vs  King's College School (KCS), Wimbledon
On: Saturday, 26 Nov 2016
Venue: Away

With injuries and illness this was always going to be a tough fixture for the mighty 16Bs particularly as the backline was entirely makeshift. KCS controlled possession and territory in the first half with them consistently threatening to break the St John's defence. Our ability to scramble our defence meant that at half time we were only 5-0 down. At half time we identified the need to guarantee quicker ball with more secure rucking. In the second half St John's began to gain the advantage and although the home side kicked a penalty to make it 8-0 a Scott Driscoll try meant we went into the last 15 minutes 8-5 down. Unfortunately, we could not cross the whitewash again and lost after a very galiant effort.
