Match Report
St John's School, Leatherhead Boys-U14D vs  Reed's School
On: Saturday, 12 Nov 2016
Venue: at Home

A very close game ended in a heart breaking conceded try for the U14Ds. Having dominated the second half the final score of the game by Reed's meant the game finished 12-12, a scoreline that did not reflect the improved play of the Ds but still represented their first result that was not a loss this season. The first half was more close but great running by Sam Baker in particular, but also Benedict Tweddle, Will Edmunds and Joshua Hack, led to a half time score of 12-5. The first score in the second half was always going to be important and, after being held up on the line and dropping the ball over it, the chance for Reed's to stage a comeback rose. Overall it was by far the best performance of the season from the U14Ds but the first win is still to come.
