Match Report
St John's School, Leatherhead Boys-U15B vs  Reed's School
On: Saturday, 12 Nov 2016
Venue: Away

A physical and hard fought encounter ended in what was probably just about a fair result. From the kick off the match was scrappy, exacerbated by the wet conditions, but John's managed to build some momentum and when Michael Haddad crashed over down the blind side it looked like we might have the upper hand. However this spurred the Reeds boys forward and as the half closed a string of errors gifted them the ball five metres out - an invitation they were not to decline.

The second half continued to be a torrid affair, with knock-ons a plenty, overlaps squandered and our pack dominance sadly not built on. Even with two late penalties in the Reeds twenty two we could not quite string the momentum together. The forwards put in a huge shift and on another day we would have been victorious, however the Reeds defence proved stalwart and the boys have to look to get back to winning ways next weekend.
