St John's School, Leatherhead Boys-U16B vs Reed's School
On: Saturday, 12 Nov 2016
Venue: at Home
In wet and windy conditions the 16Bs took on local rivals Reeds in a tightly contested game. Our overall performance was quite below par considering the fast and free rugby we have exhibited so far this season. Thankfully, we were clearly aware that we needed to take every opportunity to score and Max Simpson's boot provided the difference between the two sides. The opposition were exceptionally well organised and their defence held firm throughout, although we lacked width on our play which did not stretch our opponents enough. Good teams develop the resilience to come through and these 16Bs are developing a clear winning mentality.
