Slow start and sloppy error gave Reeds the first score of the game with a penalty 0-3.

After a series of line outs but St Johns struggled to score. Eventually after a lot of to and fro, play lead to an error from Reeds and gave St Johns a scrum. A well executed back row move allowed Jack Potter to score and convert his own try. 7-3

A great turn over from Raefe Murphy lead to a counter attack opportunity and after some good handling from James Gardener put Jack in for his second try which was again converted. 14-3

A neat chip through from Reeds caused St Johns to give away a penalty which thankfully was missed as the whistle blew for half time.

A knock on several phases into the second half gave St Johns an opportunity to get some forward momentum. After several minutes of constant pressure gave a line out 5 metres out but St Johns failed to cross the line.

St. John's finally get rewarded for their pressure and take a penalty in front of the posts to take the score to 17-3 and extend the lead.

St. John's then appeared to switch off and allowed Reeds to go through uncontested to bring the score to 17-10 with plenty to play for in the remaining 15 minutes

Some frantic play from both sides each trying to make an impact led to a dull finish to the game but St Johns managed to close the game out to keep their unbeaten record at home
