Match Report
St John's School, Leatherhead Girls Junior C vs  Cranleigh School
On: Saturday, 12 Nov 2016
Venue: Away

The Junior Cs were up against stiff opposition this week, as we faced local rivals away at Cranleigh. Much of the first half was one way traffic for the home side, with our girls showing a valiant effort in defence but being unable to clear the ball out wide to our attackers.

However, the last ten minutes of the match saw a very different team; we were assertive in our desire to get the ball and were making some excellent breaks. Special mention must go to Victoria Bond who played her first match for the school and shone up front. We were also delighted to have Jess Hall playing for us this week, and she made a real difference in terms of injecting some energy to the team.

The final score was a disappointing 4-0, but overall this game was a fantastic indicator of our girls' capability when they play on form.
