Match Report
St John's School, Leatherhead Girls 4th XI vs  Cranleigh School
On: Saturday, 12 Nov 2016
Venue: Away

The 4th XI had a very challenging match against Cranleigh's 3rd XI resulting in. 5:0 loss. St John's were on the defensive for the vast majority of the match and both mids and defenders put up a determined fight. Amy Currie was particularly valuable on the right wing maintaining an impressively fast pace and some strong stick-work throughout the game. Nevertheless, the first half ended with a score of 3:0 to Cranleigh. Ellie Chalk played superbly in goal and saved too many goals to count including powerful lifted balls; she was complemented on her play by the coach of the opposition. Whilst the game ended with a 5:0 loss, this was actually quite respectable considering the strength of Cranleigh and their relentless attack.
