Match Report
St John's School, Leatherhead Boys-U15B vs  Eltham College
On: Saturday, 03 Dec 2016
Venue: Away

Although we went up after only two minutes through some lovely running in the backs and Sellick proving too fast on the wing, the next phase of play was relatively equal. It was only as a result of two fortunate tries, the first with Tudor the only player to react when the ball popped out the scrum and the second when a forward pass was missed. So with twenty minutes gone Eltham were a little unlucky to be 19-0 down. The addition of another try before half time and two players lost by Eltham to the A team was not the finish any team would want.

Going into the second half now 14 on each side, St John's showed no mercy to a deflated Eltham side, now missing their two most influential players, and ran in five tries in 12 minutes before the match was finished early. A very convincing display, but we know we will need to step the performance up a level before Epsom next week.
