Match Report
St John's School, Leatherhead Girls-U14A vs  Reigate Grammar School
On: Saturday, 25 Feb 2017
Venue: Away

This was undoubtedly the best match of the season thus far in terms of competitive play and the standard netball played. The team got off to a flier with interceptions being made in all thirds of the court with St John's managing a run of 4 unanswered goals. I all thirds of the court players had excellent tussles with their opposition. Tilly rebounded superbly any missed shots and Olivia and Amy fought tenaciously with their opposite number. Jess in her usual unassuming manner thwarted the attacking drives of the WA and Anna provided great link play to Ella. The Reigate GD must receive mention for her close marking of Eliana - the dynamics of these two could have graced a senior game and Meg tenaciously ran the back line. Holly provided support in the centre play. This match could have gone either way and gives an insight into what lies ahead in the remaining fixture list. The resilience of the girls was tested and they came through just.
