Match Report
St John's School, Leatherhead Girls-U15B vs  Reigate Grammar School
On: Saturday, 25 Feb 2017
Venue: at Home

The 15Bs had another outstanding match at home this morning, battling with difficult weather conditions to beat Reigate 46-2. From the outset, our girls dominated possession and moved beautifully down the court under constant guidance from centre Abi Tait, who was voted player of the match by the opposition.

As usual, our defensive trio of Martha Witt, Jemima Good and Sophie Porter fought hard to deny the opposition any easy shots on goal and made countless interceptions to ensure that our team stayed on top. Special mention must also go to our shooters, Jasmin Walker and Olivia Woodward, who were remarkable today. Jasmin broke her personal record of 35 goals in one match, today scoring 36 despite howling winds and two injured knees!

What sets the 15Bs apart and what has allowed them to maintain their unbeaten record this season is their dedication to one another and their ability to play as a team. I am so proud of their work so far and look forward to some tough fixtures in the weeks to come.
