Match Report
St John's School, Leatherhead Boys-U15B vs  Epsom College
On: Saturday, 10 Dec 2016
Venue: Away

Another slow start, despite the short journey to Epsom, and we were 12-0 down after 12 minutes. Epsom were jubilant whilst the John's boys heads dropped a little. However, forward pressure told and as half time approached Austin Bell nipped round the side of the ruck and scored a try the forward play deserved.

The second half, with the hill, saw an instant turnaround, one chance squandered, but another taken. John's were now within one score and looking the dominant team. More chances were missed but it was clear that John's had now turned up and quick tries from Sellick and Blackman Rogers put us ten points clear. Man of the Match and player of the season, Will Aldridge Bate, then sealed off an unbeaten season with a try to put us out of sight of Epsom. A throughly deserved victory and a good end to a very good season.
