Match Report
St John's School, Leatherhead Boys-U16C vs  Epsom College
On: Saturday, 10 Dec 2016
Venue: at Home

The u16cs battled it out against Epsom College this weekend and it was a tight affair. An initial flurry led to Epsom going ahead only for St. John's to capitalise on a break and score two tries in quick succession. Both sides played extremely well and tackles were crunching. Unfortunately for St John's, Epsom were able to score on two occasions with momentum taking them over. Despite losing 29-10, the team played well, Captain Barnham had an outstanding game as did player of the season Newton. Moir and Fronzoni had a fast paced first half and Goldsmith played well at full back. Swiss in the centre tackled everything in his path whilst forwards Patel, Webb, Vogel and Heard made impressive runs throughout the game. It was a great team to coach this year and they certainly played with pride up until the final minute of the game and I was very impressed with their performance in this last match of the season.
