Match Report
St John's School, Leatherhead Boys-U16C vs  Eastbourne College
On: Saturday, 15 Oct 2016
Venue: Away

Despite losing five players on Friday, the U16Cs performed extremely well. The match started at a frenetic pace and St John's was quick to capitalise. Tackling had improved since last week and Carpenter demonstrated this best at full back, putting in some outstanding try saving tackles. St. John's was most dangerous when running from deep and Moir, Rose, Jones, Fronzoni and Caird scored some excellent tries. The pace of Caird was devastating and the Eastbourne team could do little to stop him scoring at will. Equally in the forwards, Heard, Patel, Vogel and Sharpels played well and Harman was unfortunate to have his try disallowed in the final play of the game. Everybody played extremely well and Beech controlled the game well from scrum half which allowed the game to flow as well as it did. A much better performance and certainly one to build upon.
